First Base Freight offer a professional and reliable services, each overseas move is tailored to your exact requirements, for example if you want to ship a few personal effects then our highly experienced removal team can come to your property at a time and date convenient to you and carefully pack and wrap your goods to then transport them back to our warehouse. Once your goods are in our warehouse, they are professionally palletised and wrapped with heat treated shrink wrap to utilise as much space on the pallet as possible to save you money on the cost of your shipping.
If you are looking to ship the majority of your household goods and personal effects then we can arrange a 20FT or 40FT shipping container to be located outside of your property. Our removal team can then meet you at the property to load the container or if you would like you could choose to load the container yourself, it is worth keeping in mind however that you will only have 3 hours of free loading time to load the container and additional charges will apply after these 3 hours. Also the container will be located on the back of a truck and will be at least 5 foot off the floor, to have the container dropped to the floor will incur an additional fee.
