RORO & Container Shipping to UAE
Are you looking to ship a car from the UK to the UAE? Our vehicle shipping services to the United Arab Emirates sail from the port of Southampton every 2 weeks. Our experienced staff will be able to offer you one of our very competitive rates for either saloon cars, 4 x 4s, trucks or plant machinery to anywhere in the UAE.
Your vehicle can also be shipped to the port of Jebel Ali, which is the port for Dubai. This again sails from the port of Southampton with a transit time of approximately 21 days. Rates for either Trucks or Plant machinery will need to be spot quoted; we will require dimensions of either the truck or the machinery to help us work out the costs. Please advise the length, width and height so that we can quote you accurately.
Car Shipping To UAE – What Are The Options?
You can ship your vehicle overseas in two ways, Ro Ro (roll on roll off) or by secured container. You can ship from Southampton to the port of Abu Dhabi with a transit time for approximately 26 days quay to quay.

Car Shipping To The UAE – Document Requirements
When shipping a vehicle to either Jebel Ali or to Abu Dhabi, we would require copies of the following documentation:
- V5C (or title document) for the vehicle
- Photo page of the consignees passport
- Purchase/Sales Invoice of the vehicle
When shipping your car or truck to either Jebel Ali, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you may also want to consider having your vehicle collected and delivered to the port of Southampton for you. This will not only save you time, but could also save you money in train fayres and bus journeys. We offer collection/delivery services by fully insured Trade Plate Drivers or if required, we can collect/deliver your vehicle on a single car transporter for cars only. Please call for a rate, we just need to know that your vehicle is roadworthy, has a current MOT and the postcode for the your collection.
